Jason Jones




Jason Jones is a respected leader in the insurance industry with over 30 years of experience. He is passionate about leading, coaching, and developing people, as well as about helping B. F. Saul Insurance grow and creating new opportunities for his team.

Jason began his career with Chubb in New York and held senior positions with global insurance brokers in Washington, DC. As president, he is responsible for leading all aspects of financial reporting and budgeting, business development, and executive recruiting at B. F. Saul Insurance. His favorite part of being an insurance advisor is getting to work with clients and supporting their business priorities throughout the client relationship.

Jason measures success by both personal and professional satisfaction. The biggest value he brings to clients is his extensive experience with financial lines insurance, including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary/Pension Liability, and various forms of Professional/Cyber Liability in the US, London, and Bermuda insurance markets. He has worked with numerous Fortune 1000 companies and venture/private equity firms in complex financial transactions, including the issuance of equity and debt, IPOs, M&A, and restructurings.

Jason holds a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance from Ohio State University. He is actively involved in charitable organizations, including the First Tee of Baltimore, Maryland Food Bank, and Ruxton-Riderwood Lake Roland Area Association. He is also a former adjunct professor with the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. When he is not working, Jason enjoys playing golf, squash, and paddle tennis, and watching college football.
