Michael Cronin is a Senior Vice President in B. F. Saul Insurance’s Commercial Lines division with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is responsible for business development and overall client service delivery, with extensive experience working with clients in the real estate, non-profit, government contracting, and professional services industries.

Michael began his career in claims where he learned how policies work and saw the downside of agent mistakes and the impact they had on clients. This experience inspired him to pursue a deeper understanding of insurance and move to brokerage and advisory. 

Michael is driven by his passion for planning and strategizing insurance programs. He takes pride in listening to his clients' unique needs and creating tailored solutions to address their specific risks. For him, success lies in providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction. He values the relationships he has built with both his team and his clients.
Michael attended Indiana University, Bloomington and earned a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).

Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and three children. He is very competitive and enjoys all sports, especially baseball, basketball, and his favorite, golf. He has served as an instructor at the National Veteran Institute of Procurement (VIP), a mentor at Future Link, a member of the Board of Education at St. Raphael School, and the president of the Board of Education for the Archdiocese of Washington.
