Jason B. Jones joins BFSI as President

B.F. Saul Insurance (BFSI), a Bethesda, MD based regional insurance brokerage and risk advisory firm, announced that Jason B. Jones has joined the firm as President. With his previous client management and sales experience in a high-growth environment, Jones plans to broaden the company's position in the marketplace. He joined the firm on September 5, 2017.

"We intend to focus on the development of our associates to achieve their professional potential and to expand our technical expertise and service capabilities to enable our clients to achieve their key business objectives," Jones said in a company press release. "We want to attract clients and new associates that believe in our vision for the business."

Prior to his arrival at B.F. Saul Insurance, he led the Financial Services practice at Lockton and was involved in the formation of the Washington, DC office in 2005. Prior to Lockton, he spent several years with Marsh and started his career with Chubb in New York in 1993.

He has extensive experience with executive liability insurance placements, including Directors and Officers liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary/Pension Liability, and various forms of Professional/Cyber Liability in the domestic, London, and Bermuda insurance markets. He has worked with numerous Fortune 1000 public and private companies and venture/private equity firms in complex financial transactions, including the issuance of equity and debt, IPO's, M&A and restructurings.

He is a 1993 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BBA in Risk Management & Insurance. In addition to being active in several charitable organizations, he has been an adjunct professor with the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.

He resides in Ruxton, Maryland with his wife and two sons. Other than watching college football, he enjoys playing golf, squash and paddle tennis.
